Best Time to Swim With Whale Sharks

We have found at Ningaloo Reef the largest fish in the world assemble around the Reef of Ningaloo every year from March to August.

Though, as we are now seeing Whale sharks increasing in numbers during September and November every year. We now offer our Whale Shark Ningaloo Reef Eco tours in the shoulder season period as well.

These tours are a fantastic option to experience Ningaloo Reef during these two months with the chance of also getting to swim with a Whale shark.

The ability to snorkel with these gentle giants is the chance for a lifetime and brings worldwide tourists to the Ningaloo Area during the whale shark season.

Each year from 15th March to mid July which joins our Whale Shark and Eco tour shoulder season through to October, Ningaloo Whalesharks n Dive operates whale shark tours covering the whole whale shark season in Exmouth, where we frequently swim with whale sharks during most of these periods.

The exception is poor weather, circumstances outside our control, and the need for a minimum of passengers to tour a given day. Every day of the season we operate.

Our purpose-built dive vessel MV HERON perfectly accommodates our guests with her toilet/ change room and comfortable seating for everybody.
